CEDERBERG & KAROO EXPLORER - 4 DAYS - 80% GRAVEL
Starting in Cape Town - Experience the Diversity of the Breathtaking Karoo Landscapes, wild Flowers and Twisted Mountain Passes.
Tour Description:
Leaving Yamaha Cape Town dealership - the route takes us on back roads through the Overberg and into the Anysberg Nature Reserve, then up through Montagu, Longkloof pass and some spectacular scenery up to Laingsberg. From there we journey through the rugged Karoo Region and Klein Roggeveld to the incredible “Ouberg Pass” one of SA’s most spectacular sites. Then we travel through the flower region of Calvinia and Niewoudtville before heading south to the Majestic and ancient Cederberg Mountains. Challenging gravel roads takes us down into the “Rooibos Tea” historical route into Wupperthal - We visit 6000 year old cave paintings dotted around the incredible rock formations. The final day takes us along a scenic, mostly tar route via Ceres and the twisted Bainskloof pass back to Cape Town.
