Yamaha World Adventure Route: South Route (Ushuaia, Torres del Paine to Osorno)

Carretera Austral, Marble Cathedral, Ruta 40, Perito Moreno Glacier, Ushuaia, Torres del Paine...” are just some of the wonderful places we will travel to and visit on this incredible trip to South America.

The route starts in the very South at Punta Arenas with 2 nights stop in Ushuaia, and finishes in Osorno, in Chile.
 

This incredible South American adventure takes travelers through some of the most stunning locations in Patagonia, Argentina, and Chile. The journey begins in Punta Arenas, Chile, travelling across the border to Rio Grande in Argentina, crossing the Strait of Magellan. It includes 2 nights stop at Ushuaia, known as the "End of the World," and Cerro Sombrero before continuing to Puerto Natales and the breathtaking Torres del Paine National Park. Travelers then explore the Perito Moreno Glacier, travel along Route 40, and reach Los Antiguos and Puerto Guadal on the shores of General Carrera Lake.
 

The second half of the trip delves deeper into the heart of Chilean Patagonia, with visits to Puerto Rio Tranquilo and Coyhaique along the Carretera Austral, a stunning route through lakes, forests, and fjords. From there, the journey moves to San Carlos de Bariloche in Argentina, then through Osorno, Chile, for the final leg of the adventure. After 17 days of breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and historical landmarks, the trip concludes with a return flight from Osorno to Santiago de Chile.
